Flann's caretaker in the crystal city. Now that Flann has returned blinded, this is even more true. She gives Flann a roof over her head and meals, and a home to come back to. It's while here that Flann starts to explore the possibilities that might help her heal her eyes - or something to stop the pain. Aurienne is a scholar, like many people who've travelled all the way to this city, she's mentally very tough.
