Liberating some diamonds

I visited the shrine again last night. I left while the others were asleep, slipping out and leaving some flowers and talking with Åsmund again. I was eating breakfast with Tenebrous in the inn and it came up in conversation that we were both looking for diamonds. He brought up the idea of stealing from the nearby jeweler. I'm not sure why I agreed to helping him steal from this place but... it was very exhilarating to. He framed it very well, I will say that. He explained it as "liberating" the store of the diamonds and said that we could use these diamonds to revive one of the others if needed. I explained I never stole anything before so this will all be new to me. He wrote out a plan for doing this, being he makes me invisible, I get inside, steal the diamonds, and get out unnoticed. Seems... simple. Erafinyr was, of course, very interested in participating. She shows she is capable of stealing things easily, showing Tenebrous something she stole off of him without him knowing, alongside one of Generosity's earrings. I scolded her about it but there is no real way to return the earring now. As I fiddled through my deck of cards to see what shape I could take to make this easier, Tenebrous pulled out a little field mouse from his pouch. It was so cute, I got to pet it. It's name is Paul and it follows him around.

We headed to the jeweler's shop. Tenebrous casted invisibility on me and headed inside. I saw him look at the very expensive things, calling over the jeweler and other staff. He was leading them away from the diamonds. I turned into the field mouse and snuck in underneath the door frame, making my way behind the counter. As I got behind the counter and began to take some of the jewelry on display, I heard Tenebrous asking for verification on a ruby he was looking at. Someone from the back came out and a crowd of people surrounded him. After the verifier came out and verified the ruby, I heard Tenebrous start haggling the price for... very low prices considering how valuable it is. It's not long after they demand him to leave, and he and the crowd of people leave the jeweler's shop. I snuck out in the crowd and followed him to an alley.

I made myself visible, showing him what I got. Erafinyr seemed surprised, saying that it wasn't a lot. Tenebrous noted to her it was my first time. He takes one of the rings, taking the diamond off of it and putting it into his component pouch. Not long after, I hear the door of the jeweler's shop slam open, the bell ringing as the shop owner shouts out about a thief. Tenebrous disappears with a wink, patting me on the head as he leaves. Not long after, I was approached by guards who entered the alleyway. He asked me if I saw anyone pass by and I stuttered, saying I didn't. They squinted at me but took me at my word.

Shortly after, I returned to the hotel, Stashing away diamonds and smashing some of them for spells. I didn't do much for the rest of the day, still on a bit of an adrenaline high.
