Meeting Lady Dhaphne

The first thing I did when I woke up this morning was check for Erafinyr. I found her curled up in a ball on the window sill. I pulled some fluff out of my pillow and put it in my satchel, then I put her into it so it acts as a pillow for her. I step outside the room and am greeted by Hornet, who was sitting with their legs crossed facing away from the door. They turn as I enter the hallway, and I give a small wave. I asked if they were feeling any better. They seem better and they also have a new cloak. I sit next to them and they show me a card trick while we wait for the others.

Ferryman exits the room next, rubbing their eyes and asking if Hornet found clothing. They says yes, noting their new cloak. They also give him back his blanket, which he is very happy about. Fathom came out of the same room next, talking to his sword. Ferryman asked me where my book was and I showed him it. Fathom suggested we go see General Faust first and try and get in contact with the tower.

As we headed downstairs, we were stopped by this really tall red-skinned orc lady. She asked us in a soft voice if we the Goldeaters and asks us to have audience with Her Lady, Dhaphne. She introduces herself as Raleig. Raleig La'fawn... such a pretty name... She's asking for everyone's names now. I don't really understand the reaction I'm having to her; she is breathtaking to me. Her gray eyes and her soft-spoken voice. She seems so gentle despite her rugged appearance. The look she gave me when she looked at each of us up and down... it made my heart skip a beat. The way she towers over even Fathom. Gosh, I hope no one notices how warm my face is.

It got to my turn for introducing myself to her. She said my name was pretty. I got really embarrassed when she asked what I was writing about. I didn't gather much details about the way to Lady Dhaphne's home. The amount of fantasies and daydreams going through my head right now... Hmm... Aina La'fawn... No no no too far ahead.

We arrived at Lady Dhaphne's estate. She begins by saying we did a great deed for her. She asks if we recall a town that was being attacked recently. According to her, the people we saved was her nurse and her own child. She is very thankful for us saving them. She is also thankful that by defeating the horde, we also in turn protected her assets in the city. She began to go around, asking what we want as a reward. She begins with Ferryman, who asks for fame for us as the Goldweavers. She says she will put in a good word for us. She asked me next, saying I am more interested in my journal then what's going on. I am still very flustered so I curtsied and apologized, saying I don't know what I want yet.

She gets to Fathom next, who shows off his guns to her. She gives him someone who can help improve them to him, using a magic I've never seen before. She pulled him close to her and whispered something in his ear. She then put a finger to her head and a strand of light comes from her, going into his forehead.

I... think I know what I'll ask for. I only realized after the others did not know this about me yet. I asked her if she knows anyone who can help me find Memory. I told her a bit about where I came from and how far I've gone to get here. Lady Dhaphne says she has something that can help. She calls for Raleig to go to the armory and get her scry. She leaves and returns not long after with a glass pyramid. Looking at it makes my eyes hurt.

I walked up to her, taking the scry in my hands. I took off my necklace, holding it in my other hand. She told me to look deep inside of the scry. I spin the scry and an image begins to form.
